Hungerford Jewellers is an independent business seeking to offer the best service to our customers – this involves staff training, expertise, advice, premises costs, packaging materials and a huge stock holding. We believe you cannot provide all of that to just “loan gifts” which service an occasion and then get returned for a refund!
- Therefore we do not give refunds on purchases however we will consider exchanges or issue a credit note on items which have not been worn. We are sorry but we cannot, for health reasons, exchange earrings for pierced ears which have been tried on.
- A faulty item, although unusual, does occasionally happen and this will be dealt with according to best practise and customer satisfaction.
- Recent purchases, which are damaged, can usually be repaired and we often share the cost of that repair (to offer a goodwill gesture to our customer) so do be encouraged to seek our help and tell us, honestly, what happened!
- We will keep items and take them “off sale” while customers are making payments on the items. However we do not refund payments in this situation should our customer change their mind but an exchange is possible.
